Dragonkin Clan

Ancient descendants of dragons wielding hidden power.

The Dragonkin Clan is a prominent faction of powerful mages and warriors in The Beginning After the End, known for their draconic heritage and mastery of mana manipulation. Unlike a traditional clan, they are a scattered collective of individuals who must choose their own path, with some joining the major powers of Dicathen and others pursuing their own destiny.

Lore & Background

The Dragonkin Clan traces its origins to the ancient era when dragons and humans first intermingled, producing descendants with draconic bloodlines. These individuals, known as dragonkin, possess the ability to tap into powerful mana manipulation and, in some cases, undergo partial physical transformations. Over millennia, the clan has remained a loose collective, with members scattered across the Eastern Continent, maintaining hidden strongholds and preserving their ancient knowledge. Unlike the organized factions of modern Dicathen, the Dragonkin Clan operates in the shadows, guiding events from behind the scenes. Their status is active but hidden, as they avoid direct confrontation with the major powers while subtly influencing the balance of power.

Reader's Guide

The dracthyr are a playable race introduced in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, combined with the new Evoker class. Evokers are exclusive to the Dracthyr, wearing mail armor and having three specializations: the ranged damage-focused Devastation, support-leaning Augmentation, and the healing-orientated Preservation. Dracthyr Evokers are considered a hero class, starting at level 58 with a unique starting zone in the Forbidden Reach. The Dracthyr can choose to align with either the Alliance or the Horde, similar to the Pandaren introduced in Mists of Pandaria. Players seeking to experience the dracthyr story should begin in the Forbidden Reach, where they awaken from stasis and encounter the Primalists' invasion. After evacuating, they can choose to join the Alliance or Horde and explore the Dragon Isles, participating in the campaign to empower the Oathstones of the five dragonflights and defend against the Primal Incarnates.
