Globe Life Park in Arlington
The Rangers' home from 1994 to 2019, now Choctaw Stadium.
Opened in April 1994 as The Ballpark in Arlington and later named Globe Life Park, this Arlington, Texas stadium housed the Rangers from 1994 through 2019. It took over from the nearby Arlington Stadium, gave way to Globe Life Field, and is now called Choctaw Stadium.

The push for a new park began after George W. Bush's investment group bought the club from Eddie Chiles in April 1989; the old stadium lacked the money-making features other clubs enjoyed. With the Rangers threatening to leave town, Arlington voters backed public funding by more than 65 percent on January 19, 1991, and a half-cent sales tax rise covered $135 million of the $191 million bill. A separate authority, the ASFDA, oversaw the build and used eminent domain to take land for parking and development. After the Rangers left, the venue was refitted for football and soccer in 2020, hosted FC Dallas's reserve side North Texas SC until 2025, and has had Six Flags as a tenant since 2020, with the company planning to base its headquarters there.
