Production
No Hiding Place followed Detective Chief Superintendent Tom Lockhart of Scotland Yard, now in hour-long episodes that allowed deeper storytelling and character work. His assistants changed over time: Detective Sergeant (later Inspector) Harry Baxter, then Detective Sergeants Russell, Perryman, and finally Gregg. The show remained mostly studio-bound but added more pre-filmed material.
Missing episodes
Some early episodes were broadcast live and never recorded. Surviving copies are held by the National Film and Television Archive or in private collections.
