Synopsis

Ali Vefa is a surgeon on the autism spectrum with savant syndrome. His childhood was marked by bullying and social isolation because of his introversion and refusal of physical touch. Only his brother was close to him, building a deep trust. That trust proved crucial after their father killed Ali's pet rabbit. Rushing the rabbit to a private clinic, Ali met Doctor Adil, who later became his legal guardian. There, he discovered his passion for surgical medicine. Following a tragic event, he committed himself to becoming a surgeon. He joined Berhayat hospital on a trial basis, facing immediate pushback from the staff, especially Doctor Ferman, who doubted his abilities. Despite these early struggles, Ali gradually earned the respect of his colleagues. He formed a brotherly bond with Ferman and a friendship with Nazli, the first person at the hospital to truly try and understand him.
