Sharman (TV series)
A British crime drama based on Mark Timlin's Nick Sharman novels.
Sharman is a British television crime drama series that first broadcast on ITV on 5 April 1995. Based on the Nick Sharman books by London-based author Mark Timlin, the series stars Clive Owen as Sharman, a private detective operating from a private office in South London. The series began with a pilot based on the novel The Turnaround, followed by four feature-length stories each based on one of Timlin's novels, except the final episode "Pretend We're Dead" which differs from the novel's plot. Regular cast includes John Salthouse as Detective Inspector Jack Robber and Roberta Taylor as Aggie, Sharman's secretary.
