Each episode displays around 20 pictures of missing children and adults, beginning with the account and description of the person, with specific notice of body modifications, visible injuries, and scars. Older episodes include video clips made by KidSmartz to teach children what to do in dangerous situations. The show also features Internet Safety Tips, where an adult or teenager suggests online safety advice, and a Safety Quiz produced by KidSmartz showing a child doing the worst thing in a situation and then being quizzed on the correct response. Near the end, a roundup presents individuals with their first and last names; some roundups contain four individuals at a time, often when they share the same surname. Each individual is shown for two seconds, with more time allowed depending on how many are in the same slide. Music is composed by Larry Brown, and male whispers are added during editing.
