Momma's Boys
Mothers help sons choose the perfect woman.
Momma's Boys is an American reality television series that aired on the NBC network, executive produced by Ryan Seacrest and Andrew Glassman. The show centered on three single men whose mothers helped them choose romantic partners from a group of female contestants. It ran for a single season of six episodes from December 2008 to January 2009. The series posed the question: "Who really is the most important woman in a man's life?" At the start, 32 single women were contestants seeking romance with any of the three men: firefighter/paramedic Michael Sarysz, real estate broker Robert Kluge, or college student Jojo Bojanowski. The mothers lived in a house with the female contestants while the sons were housed in a nearby condominium.

Elimination chart
Contestants are listed alphabetically by first name in Episode 1 because no contestants were eliminated. In subsequent episodes, contestants received a "yes," "no," or "maybe" text message; "yes" and "no" indicated saved or eliminated, while "maybe" led to a poolside ceremony. The chart notes which contestant went on a date with Jojo, Michael, or Rob. Winners are designated by each man's choice. A suitability challenge winner was immune from elimination. One contestant was going to be eliminated but was allowed to stay due to another contestant quitting. Eliminated contestants and those who quit are marked accordingly.
Episode summaries
No contestants were eliminated in Episode 1. Episode 2 was two hours long with two elimination rounds. In the first round, Jessica B., Amy, Simone, Rochelle, Jamie, Donna, Natalie, and Rana Lyn were eliminated by text; Lynette and Madeline were eliminated at the pool; Megan, Cara, and Vita were kept after being called to the pool. Camilla, Stacy, Cara, and Brittany won a suitability challenge and were immune in the second round. In that round, Vita, Callie, Mya, and Payten were eliminated by text; Lauren, Carina, and Megan were called to the pool, where Lauren was kept and Megan quit; Carina would have been eliminated but stayed due to Megan's departure. In a later episode, a box with personal files was brought in. Food Network chef Tyler Florence divided women into groups to cook for Michael, Rob, or Jojo; Jojo's mom cried because no one chose her son's favorite food. The chef asked Julie to make his food. Some women cooked their own recipes; winners Amanda, Meghan, Julie, and Erica were exempt from having their files opened. Mothers then opened files: Lorraine chose Michelle, Esther chose Lauren, Khalood chose Brittany. Carina and Jessica C. were eliminated after dates with Michael; Stacey and Cara received "no" texts, and Cara threw a tantrum. Nikki, Michelle, and Brittany faced elimination, and Brittany was eliminated at the pool. Another episode focused on holiday traditions; with a priest and rabbi, women prepared a Christmas or Hanukkah party. Erica and Michael had their first date, then Jojo and Misty. Khalood demanded to be taken to her son's location during his date; when flown by helicopter, she was distraught seeing the pair embracing.
