Premise

Three video game characters—a robot, a cosmic skater, and an intergalactic defender—jump off the screen into the real world. With help from siblings Mig and Carol, who have opposite personalities, they become school students and try to live normal lives. They discover their complementary skills and, tired of fighting villains, seek the adventure of real life.

Format

Bugados is a sitcom with 26 episodes per season; the first two seasons were acquired by Gloob, a cable channel owned by Globosat. It uses comedy of errors to generate humor and audience empathy. The series is shot entirely in a studio, with sets including a school and a hyper-technological space called INTERMUNDOS. In 2021, Gloob released a free online virtual tour of the sets, developed by VideoPontoCom.
