Reception

Critics were split on this tank combat game. Many highlighted the impressive graphics, sound, and fluid controls, even suggesting it surpassed other Battlezone-style games on the ZX Spectrum, including Quicksilva’s official version. The convincing 3D visuals and detailed scenery were praised. However, some found the graphics a bit muddled, with color choices sometimes hiding enemy tanks. Reactions to the game’s speed and collision detection varied, with a few reviewers calling them sluggish and letdowns. Still, several players found it addictive and fun, while others saw it as a decent but forgettable adaptation of the arcade classic.
