Petr Nedvěd is a Czech former professional ice hockey center who played in the NHL. He was involved in a notable contract dispute with the Vancouver Canucks in March 1994, which led to an arbitrator awarding the Canucks a second-round draft pick along with Craig Janney. Nedvěd was a restricted free agent signed by the St. Louis Blues, and the Canucks had demanded Brendan Shanahan in the first place.
