Gameplay
Revenge of Doh introduces Warp Gates, which appear at the bottom of the play area after a level is completed or when the Break pill is caught. The player chooses one of two gates, affecting which version of the next level is provided. The fire-button is used only when the Laser Cannons or Catch pill is caught. New power-ups and enemy types appear, along with two new brick types. Notched silver bricks take several hits to destroy and regenerate at full strength after a short time; they need not be destroyed to complete a level. Some bricks move left to right unless obstructed. The US version has a different Level 1 layout with a line of notched bricks and moving colored bricks above. On round 17, a giant brain mini-boss appears. After 33 rounds, the player faces DOH in two forms: a statue-like incarnation and a tentacled creature whose tentacles break off and regenerate. Home versions include a level editor for creating or editing levels.
