Reader's Guide

T1 has secured this prestigious award on four historic occasions, marking distinct eras of dominance within the competitive scene. In 2013, during the third season, they defeated Royal Club to claim their first global title and establish a new standard for excellence in the region. The organization returned to victory in 2015 against KOO Tigers, proving their consistency remained unmatched across years despite roster changes. They achieved back-to-back glory by defeating SSg White in 2016, solidifying their status as the greatest team of that specific era. After a long hiatus from the summit spanning several seasons, T1 reclaimed glory in 2023 by overcoming Weibo Gaming in a thrilling final series. Each instance required navigating grueling group stages and intense knockout rounds against the best talent globally available at the time. The trophy remains the primary metric for judging an organization's all-time greatness within the community today. Fans often track these specific victories to measure the longevity of their favorite roster members, particularly the legendary mid-laner who has lifted it multiple times throughout his career.
