Lore & Background
Piglet's path to glory started with deception; he lied to his family about quitting StarCraft while secretly practicing at PC bangs. After realizing he wasn't good enough for StarCraft, he shifted his focus to League of Legends, eventually contacting only SK Telecom T1 after receiving multiple offers. In February 2013, he joined the newly formed SK Telecom T1 #2 team. The rookie squad shocked the OLYMPUS Champions Spring 2013 by finishing atop Group A ahead of favorites like CJ Entus Blaze. Although they lost in the semi-finals to MVP Ozone, they secured third place by defeating CJ Entus Frost 3–0.
Reader's Guide
Piglet's career is marked by extreme highs and significant roster turbulence. After leaving SKT, he faced criticism for toxicity but found redemption at Team Liquid, where he was touted as North America's best player alongside Huni and Reignover in 2016. However, internal strife plagued the team; jungler Dardoch clashed with Piglet, leading to suspensions and Piglet voluntarily moving to the Academy squad. In 2017, despite rumors of joining TSM or H2k, he stayed at Team Liquid, even playing mid during IEM Katowice when Goldenglue was benched. He helped secure promotion back to the LCS after a dramatic Game 5 against GCU. By 2018, family issues and an 8–10 record kept his Clutch Gaming Academy squad out of playoffs, though he made appearances on the main roster in July.
