Story
After vampires are supposedly eliminated, Veronica Lodge retains her powers and discovers the eradication was a scam orchestrated by her parents. Hiram and Hermione Lodge reveal they have been vampires for centuries, but Veronica vanishes before they can explain further. Meanwhile, Jughead dreams of Veronica leading their friends as vampires eating him. Betty dismisses his fears, but surveillance detects a break-in at Pop's diner. There, Jughead, Betty, and Archie find Pop Tate alive despite Jughead having previously consumed him; he has bite marks. Betty insists vampires are extinct, claiming werewolves caused their extinction. While Jughead waits with Pop, Pop attacks him to drink his blood. Betty and Archie encounter vampire attackers, and a vampiric Veronica also prepares to confront them.
