Story
Yamato Kazakiri, a zoologist, discovers Zyuland, a world inhabited by anthropomorphic animal beings called Zyumen. The Dethgaliens arrive from outer space, selecting Earth as the site for their 100th Blood Game competition. Four Zyumen—Sela the shark woman, Leo the lion man, Tusk the elephant man, and Amu the white tiger woman—attempt to defend Zyuland but are drawn to Earth with Yamato, who possesses a Champion's Proof, the fifth of a set owned by his Zyuman companions. These artifacts enable the five to transform into the Zyuohgers and fight a Dethgalien general. After the battle, the Zyumen find themselves trapped in the human world, needing six Champion's Proofs to return home. Yamato assists them while they search for the sixth Proof and continue battling the Dethgaliens, who incorporate the Zyuohgers into their Blood Game. The invaders kidnap human Misao Mondo and turn him into an artificial Zyuohger, but after being freed, he joins as Zyuoh The World. Bud, an old acquaintance of Yamato's family, later uses the sixth Champion's Proof to become Zyuoh Bird.
