Nirodha
Cessation of suffering through renunciation of craving.
Nirodha is a concept in both Buddhism and Hinduism, generally meaning cessation or restraint. In Buddhism, it is the third Noble Truth, describing the end of suffering through the renunciation of craving and desire, leading to nibbana. In Hinduism, Patanjali's Yoga Sutras define nirodha as the restraint of the mind's changing states.
