Ferenc Puskás (1927–2006) was a Hungarian footballer who played as a forward and served as captain of the Hungary national team. He is as a "Hungarian legend" and the former national team captain. The Puskás Aréna and its predecessor, the Ferenc Puskás Stadium, were both named in his honour. It also does not mention his nickname "The Galloping Major" or his time with the Spain national team.
