SV Vulpeculae
A distant Cepheid variable with a 45-day period.
SV Vulpeculae is a classical Cepheid variable star in Vulpecula, a yellow bright supergiant about 8,700 light years away. It is not visible to the naked eye but can be seen with binoculars. Its brightness variation was announced in 1921 by Johanna C. Mackie, and it received its variable star designation in 1922.
