A slowly pulsating B star and spectroscopic binary in Taurus.

HD 25558, also designated V1133 Tauri and 40 Tauri, is a variable star about 700 light years from Earth in Taurus. With an apparent magnitude near 5.3, it is faintly visible to the naked eye under dark skies. It is a slowly pulsating B star whose brightness varies between Hipparcos magnitude 5.28 and 5.32 over 1.53232423 days. The star is a spectroscopic binary with an orbital period of about 8.9 years.
