HD 142990, also designated V913 Scorpii, is a faint 5th magnitude variable star in Scorpius, roughly 470 light years away. It is a helium-weak star with a strong magnetic field of several kilogauss, and it exhibits coherent electron cyclotron maser emission at 200 MHz, a rare phenomenon among hot magnetic stars.
