HR 1170
A Delta Scuti variable star in Perseus with disputed pulsation modes.
HR 1170, also designated HD 23728 and V376 Persei, is a faintly visible 5th magnitude variable star roughly 220 light years away in Perseus. Its brightness varies slightly between magnitudes 5.77 and 5.91. Michel Breger identified it as a Delta Scuti variable in 1969, based on observations from October 13, 1967, reporting a mean amplitude of 0.08 magnitudes and a period of 2.2 hours.
