Leo V is a dwarf spheroidal galaxy in the constellation Leo, discovered in 2007. It is one of the smallest and faintest satellites of the Milky Way, with a high mass-to-light ratio indicating dark matter dominance. Its stellar population consists of old, metal-poor stars formed more than 12 billion years ago.
