A K0 giant with two planets, one in a disputed orbit.
HD 102272 is a K0 giant star in the equatorial constellation of Leo, too faint to be seen without a telescope. It lies about 1,140 light-years away and is moving closer to the Sun. The star hosts two known extrasolar planets, discovered in 2008 via radial velocity measurements.
