Cydonia

Cydonia is a colony on Mars in the Sol system. It was humanity's first major colony outside Earth and is still one of the main centres of mining and heavy industry in United Colonies space. Because the Martian surface is so hostile, most of the settlement was built underground.

By 2330 Cydonia remains a working colony rather than a relic: its mines and factories still supply resources across the United Colonies, and it is one of the largest surviving population centres in the Sol system.
