The film's plot begins on January 1, 2008, at the Xcalibur Bowling Centre, where janitor Egerton allows two groups of teenagers to bowl after hours. After harassment of a cisgender male character named Sam, who is mocked for being effeminate, a brawl ensues, and the groups are told to leave and continue the next night. Lisa returns for her purse and is violently raped by Steve, A.J., Joey, and Patrick, with Patrick initially refusing but being coerced. The following night, the teams return, and an unknown killer begins murdering them one by one, with the scoreboard showing the initials 'BBK' (Bowling Bag Killer). The killer is revealed to be the janitor's son, not Egerton himself, who has spared Patrick after learning of his involvement in the rape. Lisa, revealed to be Egerton's daughter, confronts him, and he kills Patrick. Jamie wrestles the janitor's son and blows his head off, but Lisa attacks Jamie, and Sarah kills Lisa. Sarah then kills Jamie, and she and the remaining survivor escape.
