The next day, Ralph searches for his football after Doris and Joanna toss it into the bushes; the killer throws it back with a metal spike, impaling him. That night, at a school dance, Dolores and her boyfriend Tony go into the woods to have sex and are both decapitated by the killer.
Principal Guglione gets calls from worried parents. Inspector Halliday arrives to investigate. Track member Pete attempts a pole vault but dies when the landing pads have been replaced with steel spikes. Halliday questions Coach Michaels, who reveals he was fired due to the bad publicity from Laura’s death. Doris and Joanna find Sally’s body in a locker; their screams bring Coach Michaels and Kevin. Kevin accuses the coach of being the killer, and a fight breaks out. Anne and Halliday arrive, noticing a photo of the track team with every face crossed out except Kevin’s.
