The film follows high school student Pam, who hangs herself due to severe bullying but survives and is hospitalized in a coma. Her friend Asuka Matsuda, also bullied, uses a computer to place a cell phone curse on their classmates during a field trip to Busan, South Korea. Victims receive a message with a photo showing their death, and the curse spreads as students forward it to save themselves at the cost of others' lives.
