Bon Appétit, Your Majesty (Korean: 폭군의 셰프, meaning "Tyrant's Chef") is a fictional South Korean television series blending fantasy, romance, time travel, and historical fiction. The story follows a modern South Korean French cuisine chef who, at the peak of her career, slips back in time to the Joseon dynasty and meets a king famous for being both an exceptional gourmet and a brutal tyrant.

Through her dishes, Ji-yeong earns Lee Heon’s trust and affection, challenging his cold, tyrannical reputation. The series mixes romance, comedy, and political drama as Ji-yeong struggles to survive, protect others, and decide whether to change history, prevent the Gapsin Purge, or return to 2025.
