Facts from the source article.

Early life

Eamon Doyle grew up on Staten Island. His mother Diane Zizzo was an Italian-American nurse, and his father Walter Doyle, of Irish descent, worked as a counselor. Walter had also sung in a doo-wop group called The Elations. Eamon started singing at nine and soon joined his father’s group on tour and stage. At fifteen, while working in a studio, he caught the notice of Nat Robinson, the head of First Priority Music. Robinson handed him over to songwriter and producer Milk Dee, who, with Mark Passy, shaped Eamon’s style. After Robinson pitched him to more than twenty labels, record executive Barry Weiss signed Eamon to Jive Records.

Musical career

In Italy, Eamon recorded an Italian version titled "Solo". The song's controversial lyrics prompted an answer single, "F.U.R.B. (Fuck You Right Back)", by Frankee, who claimed to be Eamon's ex-girlfriend, a claim he denied. The song earned Eamon a Guinness World Record for the most expletives in a number-one song. A second single, "I Love Them Ho's (Ho-Wop)", was a top ten hit in Denmark and featured a remix and video with Ghostface Killah of Wu-Tang Clan; Eamon later appeared on Ghostface's album More Fish. Eamon and Jive Records parted ways in 2008. SMC soon became delinquent on payments for musicians, studio costs, and advances, but Eamon and Blue continued recording despite the label not fulfilling its contractual obligation.
