Piko Piko Hammer

Amy Rose's trusted hammer, carried alongside her tarot cards and energetic spirit.

The Piko Piko Hammer, also called the Magical Hammer, Love Hammer, and Piko Hammer, is a large yellow and red hammer that serves as Amy Rose's signature weapon. It is used as a melee weapon and to perform special techniques. The hammer was originally based on a popular Japanese children's toy of the same name, with "piko-piko" being an onomatopoeia for the chirping sound the toy makes when struck. Amy was given the hammer as a weapon to strengthen her tomboyish nature, and as a result, she does not punch.
