Babylon Rogues

Lore & Background

The origins of this group trace back to a lineage of guardians who protected the secrets of Babylon Garden over a millennium ago. According to legend, their ancestors hid immense treasures within the floating city before it vanished from the sky. The modern Rogues believe they are the rightful heirs to these riches and have dedicated their lives to locating the lost civilization through competitive racing events.

Their philosophy centers on the belief that speed is the ultimate measure of worth. Jet, in particular, views Sonic not just as an opponent, but as a benchmark for his own greatness. This rivalry is professional rather than personal hatred; they respect strength and skill above all else. While their methods can be aggressive during competitions, they rarely cross into true villainy, often acting more as anti-heroes who operate outside the law.

The dynamic within the team reflects a balance of skills necessary for survival in extreme environments. Jet provides leadership and aerial agility, Wave handles tactical analysis and ranged support, while Storm offers brute force to overcome physical obstacles. Together, they form a cohesive unit capable of challenging even the fastest hedgehogs on the planet.

Reader's Guide

The Babylon Rogues operate as an independent faction centered around Extreme Gear racing and treasure hunting. Led by the confident Jet the Hawk, the group consists of three distinct members: Wave the Swallow, who acts as a tactical strategist, and Storm the Albatross, providing raw physical power. Their primary motivation stems from a family legacy tied to the legendary Babylon Garden.

Unlike traditional villains, they are rivals driven by pride and heritage rather than malice. They seek to recover ancient artifacts hidden within the floating city of Babylon Garden, believing themselves to be the rightful heirs of its creators. This quest often brings them into direct competition with Team Sonic during global racing events.

While they frequently clash with the hero team over speed records and treasure claims, their relationship is complex. They respect strength above all else, viewing races as tests of worthiness rather than simple battles. Their presence adds a layer of high-stakes competition to the world of Extreme Gear sports.
