TNSrecords Fanzine

TNSrecords occasionally produces a fanzine, which began in 2003 as a free publication available at music stores and online. It covers reviews of punk rock, ska, hardcore, psychobilly, and other genres, alongside comedic or left-wing political articles and gig news. The original incarnation, That's Not Skanking fanzine, lasted 18 issues with an average print run of 250 copies. After the label's launch in 2008, the fanzine was relaunched as TNSrecords fanzine; by summer 2011 there had been 14 issues, typically coinciding with label releases and printed in runs of around 1500. Content ranges from the ridiculous to political and social issues, and includes interviews with local scene bands as well as established acts like Zeke and Million Dead. The fanzine uses animal imagery and features such as funny footballer names and human impressions of animals. It was featured in an exhibition and film at Salford Art Gallery in 2011/12, curated by Salford Zine Library, with commentary by Andy.

Manchester Punk Festival

In 2015, TNSrecords formed a collective with Moving North and Anarchistic Undertones to launch Manchester Punk Festival. The festival aims to bring a diverse range of bands considered punk in sound or ethos to Manchester, using some of the city's best independent venues. By 2023, the festival had grown to 140 acts performing across seven venues.

TNSradio

TNSrecords launched TNSradio in February 2009 as a monthly podcast featuring punk and ska music. It became a weekly show from February 2010, broadcast on American internet radio stations Punk Rock Demonstration and Real Punk Radio, but stopped in summer 2010 due to lack of time. The show returned in June 2011 on a monthly basis as part of the Punk Britannia weekly podcast on Punk Rock Demonstration and the Studs and Punks website. The podcast is currently in hiatus, though it briefly returned during lockdown as the 'Cheap Cans, Broken Vans and Basement Bar Bands Podcast', where Andy and Bev, alongside guests, shared memories of the label's first 100 releases.
