Plot
The action begins at the Sphinx's entrance in ancient Egypt, where a spider strums its web like a harp. Spotting a trembling door, the spider leaps from its web as the door swings open into total darkness. It creeps toward the opening and silently signals for us to follow. Inside, a long, shadowy hallway with several descending staircases awaits. A falling brick startles the spider, sending it fleeing before it tumbles down a flight of stairs. Drawn by a ticking noise, it arrives in a vast tomb. The spider chuckles and gestures toward an hourglass, but a ringing bell on top terrifies it. It darts away and attempts to hide in a sarcophagus, only to recoil when a mummy nearly crashes onto it. Four more sarcophagi open, releasing additional mummies. The spider shrieks "Mummies!" and dives into a vase while the mummies dance around the chamber. Once the dance concludes, the mummies re-enter their coffins. Peeking from the vase, the spider notices hieroglyphics on the wall that spring to life and dance. These animated symbols stage a chariot race, which erupts into a chaotic brawl. Horrified, the spider screams and bolts from the tomb, racing up staircases, through stone corridors, and out the door, sprinting desperately across the desert dunes.
