Gameplay
The player aims to become Dr. Brain's assistant by solving puzzles he has set, after answering a classified advertisement. Entry requires a memory game at the front gate. Inside, puzzles are found in hallways and rooms, and three mazes involve guiding an elevator between floors. Many puzzles test mathematics and logic, but the game covers a broad range of subjects: one puzzle is a cryptogram, the penultimate level focuses on astronomy, and a surreal level requires assembling a jigsaw puzzle that becomes a traversable room. The point-and-click interface offers three difficulty levels changeable at any time. The pointer can be switched from a hand (to interact with puzzles) to an eye (to obtain information, sometimes providing clues). Non-puzzle objects typically yield a joke when clicked. Hint Coins, earned by solving puzzles, can be spent for assistance on difficult puzzles.
