In Their Own Story

The evening sun dipped below the hills behind Oracle Park, casting long shadows across the warning track. Bailey stepped into the on-deck circle, gripping the bat with familiar confidence. The air smelled of fresh cut grass and hot dogs, a scent unchanged for decades in this city. He watched the pitcher wind up, feeling the rhythm of the game settle over him. This was no longer just about potential; it was about execution under the bright lights where Giants legends once stood.
