In his second season as a Giant, Bochy led the team to their first World Series Championship for the city of San Francisco, defeating the Texas Rangers in 2010. Two years later, in 2012, he managed the Giants to a second title by sweeping the Detroit Tigers. He reached the World Series for a fourth time as a manager in 2014, securing his third championship in five years by leading the Giants over the Kansas City Royals in seven games.
