Lore & Background
Da Capo III takes place on Hatsune island, 20 years after the original Da Capo. The story follows Kiyotaka Yoshino, the only male member of Kazami Academy's newspaper club, whose president Ricca Morizono seeks to prove magic exists. Along with four other girls—Himeno Katsuragi, Charles Yoshino, Sara Rukawa, and Aoi Hinomoto—they visit a magical cherry tree, which blooms and sends them a text message from the future. They gradually recall a previous life in 1950s London, where they attended an underground magical school called The Weather Vane. A mysterious fog drove magicians out of control, and Sakura Yoshino, from the 21st century, was teleported there. The player can develop a romance with one of five heroines, and after clearing all five routes, the Zero chapter becomes available.
