via Wikipedia: Duntrune Castle · see source
Duntrune Castle, a category B listed building, looks out over Loch Crinan from its northern shore, opposite the village of Crinan in Argyll and Bute. Believed to be the oldest castle on mainland Scotland that has never been abandoned, it was first raised by the MacDougall clan in the 1200s. The Campbells of Duntroon later took it over, making it their family seat until they sold it in 1792 to the Malcolms of Poltalloch. The current owner is Robin Neill Malcolm, the present clan chief of the Clan Malcolm.
