Reader's Guide
Sushiro is not a character in The Ranking of Kings. It is a real-world conveyor belt sushi chain with over 500 restaurants in Japan and international locations in South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, mainland China, Indonesia, and a planned outlet in Malaysia. The chain has faced notable incidents: a false advertising accusation in Japan in June 2022, a viral video incident in January 2023 that caused a 16 billion yen market value loss, a 'salmon chaos' promotion in Taiwan in early 2021, and a Cantonese language ban controversy in Guangzhou, China. Fans should not confuse this sushi chain with any element of The Ranking of Kings canon.

- In Taiwan, a 2021 Sushiro promotion offering free sushi to people with 'salmon' in their name led to multiple people legally changing their names, an event dubbed 'salmon chaos'.
