The second season of Prison Break, an American serial drama television series, premiered on Fox on August 21, 2006, and concluded on April 2, 2007. The season follows the Fox River Eight—eight escaped prisoners, including brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows—as they are pursued in a massive manhunt while also evading a secret group called The Company. Series creator Paul Scheuring described the season as 'The Fugitive times eight' and likened it to the 'second half of The Great Escape.'
