The Zord folded its wings tight against its flanks and dropped from the clouds in a silent arc, talons first, shattering the crystal shell the villain had wrapped around the old bridge. She felt the G-force press her into the cockpit harness as the Eagle banked hard, wings catching the updraft off the river.
