Helder Postiga

Hélder Manuel Marques Postiga (born 2 August 1982) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a striker. He started his career at Porto, collecting eight trophies there, and over 11 seasons in the Primeira Liga—spent with Porto, Sporting CP, and Rio Ave—he played 195 matches and scored 54 goals. Postiga also played in six countries abroad, with his most notable stint in Spain, where he scored 27 goals in 99 La Liga appearances across three clubs. A Portugal international from 2003 onward, he played for his country at two World Cups and three European Championships, and was part of the squad that reached the Euro 2004 final.
