Aleksander Ruta (born 6 August 2008) is a Polish racing driver currently racing for Van Amersfoort Racing in the Italian F4 and E4 Championships. After a short karting career that saw him finish second in the 2024 Rok Cup Poland's Senior Rok standings, he moved to single-seaters in early 2025. His debut season included a mid-year team switch and a first career win in the 2026 Formula Winter Series.
Career
Ruta's karting years ran from 2022 to 2024. His best result was second place in the 2024 Rok Cup Poland's Senior Rok standings, and he also raced in the 2023 Rok Cup Superfinal in the same Senior Rok category. For his single-seater debut in early 2025, Ruta joined Cram Motorsport in the Formula Winter Series. He scored his first points with a tenth-place finish in race one at Aragón, then switched to Van Amersfoort Racing for the season finale, where he placed 11th in race one and ended the series 21st in points.
Though originally scheduled to race in Italian F4 for Cram, Ruta chose to stay with Van Amersfoort Racing. In round two at Vallelunga, he finished seventh and eighth in races three and four, earning a rookie podium in the former. He added two points finishes between Mugello and Barcelona, then closed the season with a pair of ninth-place results at Misano, ending 23rd in the overall standings. That same year in the E4 Championship with Van Amersfoort Racing, Ruta collected four rookie podiums from Le Castellet through Mugello, with a best overall finish of seventh in Mugello's race one, placing 13th in points.
For 2026, Ruta remained with Van Amersfoort Racing for a triple campaign in the Formula Winter Series, Italian F4, and E4 Championships. In the Winter Series, he scored points four times across the Estoril and Algarve rounds, then stood on the podium in all three races at Valencia, including his first career win in race two. He finished tenth in race one at Aragón but skipped the remaining two races and the Barcelona round after injuring his hand in that race.
