Zygmunt Laskowski

Polish physician, inventor of an embalming method, and discoverer of a supernova.

He invented a new method of embalming and conserving anatomical specimens, receiving medals at the Expositions Universelles of 1867 and 1878. He also discovered the supernova V603 Aquilae in 1918.
