Plot
In 1995, Jake Ryan graduates at the top of his class and joins the Jackson Beach PD, the same force his father served on. His father was killed in the line of duty in 1984, and the case remains unsolved. Jake makes several arrests related to a National Guard armory break-in. Just as he connects these crimes to his father's murder, he is injured in a motorcycle accident. After weeks in rehab, he accepts a job as assistant to his father's old partner at a private investigation firm. Together they uncover a gun smuggling ring involving Bradford Green, district attorney Stuart Cox, and Nico Dillon, who murdered Jake's father. The game concludes with Nico sentenced to lethal injection, Green to 20 years, and Cox to 15 years in prison.
