Sodium Hub

The Sodium Hub was the central Home space for the Sodium series. Players could earn Sodium Credits through various mini-games and redeem them for Sodium-related content. To begin, users had to interact with VICKIE, the Sodium A.I. Information Android, which tracked completed Objectives and allowed players to register using a twelve-character code from the Sodium website to access the Salt Shooter Game. Objectives rewarded Sodium Credits, and some unlocked Home reward items. Mini-games included [Salt Shooter] Tank Training, Scorpion Stomp, Desert Quench, and the Salt Shooter Game. Tank Training was a practice mode for the full game. Scorpion Stomp involved stomping robotic scorpions of three types: yellow (mid-sized, easiest), red (largest, requiring special shoes from Commerce Point), and blue (smallest, requiring a Vetoxade drink from Scorpio's or a vending machine). Desert Quench let players act as bartender or customer at Scorpio's, earning credits by making drinks.

SodiumOne

SodiumOne combined the full tank shooting game SodiumOne - Salt Shooter with associated mini-games set in the Nevada desert. The first five levels of Salt Shooter were free; the full game required purchasing the Sodium Pilot Outfit - Red Chili Edition from the Commerce Point. From December 17 to December 24, 2009, 150 voucher codes for the pilot outfit and Salt Shooter Game were sent daily to random Hub visitors. A teleporter near Scorpio's led to a personal Salt Shooter Game space or the public game space released on October 6, 2011, which featured new rewards and displays of enemy units such as Sand Skater, Skimmer Assault Drone, and others. The Salt Shooter Game allowed upgrades to the hovertank—weapons, thrusters, afterburners—earned by destroying enemy tanks and bosses. Players could unlock up to five upgraded versions of the pilot jacket to indicate experience.

Sodium2

It was officially unveiled by Jack Buser on PlayStation.Blog on December 10, 2010. Described by Outso as expanding on the original with customizable jet racers, supersonic speeds, and a pounding soundtrack, Sodium2 was a free-to-play high-speed racing game visually similar to WipEout and featuring music by CoLD SToRAGE. It included a single-player mode with an XP system, objectives, Sodium Credits, and a worldwide leaderboard, as well as real-time multiplayer—a first for PlayStation Home—allowing races against friends or strangers on multiple courses.
