Buffalo Bills
A one-season stop in a long NFL coaching journey.
via Wikipedia: Karl Dunbar · see source
Karl Dunbar's single season as defensive line coach for the Buffalo Bills in 2015 was a brief stop in a long coaching career. Hired in January 2015, he was brought in to work under head coach Rex Ryan. However, after only one season, Dunbar was fired on March 13, 2016.
Lore & Background
Dunbar's tenure with the Bills is noted only for its brevity. He was hired in January 2015 as the defensive line coach under head coach Rex Ryan. His time in Buffalo ended abruptly when he was fired on March 13, 2016, after just one year. This makes his Bills stint the shortest of his NFL coaching positions, contrasting with longer tenures in Chicago, Minnesota, and Pittsburgh.
