Winged Pikmin

Winged Pikmin are a pink-colored, bee-inspired type of Pikmin introduced in Pikmin 3. They can fly freely and fly high, which enables them to recover elevated items and attack airborne enemies with ease. Their aerial maneuverability makes it easier to transport things to the ship or Onion.

Winged Pikmin are best used for retrieving items that are high off the ground or on elevated platforms, as they can fly directly to them without needing to be thrown or stacked. They are also the ideal choice for fighting airborne enemies, since they can chase them in the air. Their flying ability makes them excellent for quickly transporting items back to the ship or Onion, as they can take a direct aerial route. However, captains should be aware that Winged Pikmin have the lowest attack strength of any Pikmin type in Pikmin 3, tied with White Pikmin, and also share the slowest digging speed with them. They are not immune to any elemental hazards like fire, water, electricity, or poison.
