Room temperature in Phasmophobia depends on the weather, and the ghost only starts affecting its room once an exit door is opened. Freezing Temperatures, one of the seven pieces of evidence, is a thermometer reading below 0 °C (32 °F); players in a cold enough room show visible breath.
