Career

Harlow was discovered by America's Next Top Model host Tyra Banks on Instagram and became one of 14 contestants on the 21st cycle in 2014, the only Canadian ever cast on the show. She was eliminated in the second week of the finals but participated in a separate comeback series, where she continued photo shoots with other eliminated contestants. After receiving the highest average public vote score, she returned to the competition, only to be eliminated again in episode 13 as the ninth eliminated overall. Following the show, she modeled for the Spanish brand Desigual and became its official brand representative. In September 2014, she walked and closed for Ashish at London Fashion Week. She modeled for Diesel's spring/summer 2015 campaign, shot by Nick Knight, and appeared in Glamour, Complex, Cosmopolitan, and Ebony magazine. In 2016, she was featured in a Sprite commercial and a Swarovski campaign, and was named one of BBC's 100 Women. She modeled at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2018. Her advertising campaigns include Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger, Desigual, Diesel, Swarovski, Steve Madden, Nike, Puma, MAC, and Victoria's Secret. In July 2011, she posted a YouTube video titled "Vitiligo: A Skin Condition, not a Life Changer" discussing her condition. She gave a TEDx talk about vitiligo in November 2014 and received the Role Model award at the 2015 Portuguese GQ Men of The Year event.
